Bucharest

We only had an afternoon in Romania's Capital, so after checking into our gigantic hotel room, we headed straight out to the Palace of Parliament.

Weighing a collosal 4 billion kilogrammes, it's the heaviest building in the world, containing over a million tonnes of marble. From there, we stumbled down the Bulevardul Unirii, a major thoroughfare which looked ideal for any march or parade, the more flags the better.
We then headed over to the brilliant Cărturești Carusel book shop, which was enormous fun.

Finally, we made our way to Revolution Square, one of the main sites of the 1989 revolution.
